Terms & Conditions

Device Repair Services

Effective date: May 8, 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern all diagnostic, repair, and related services performed by Blue Chip Strategies Limited (“we”, “us”, or “our”).

By submitting a device for service, you (“the customer”) acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Scope of Services

We provide diagnostic, warranty, and non-warranty repair services. Services performed outside of manufacturer warranty are independent services and are not governed by manufacturer policies.

2. Customer Responsibilities

The customer agrees that:

· All data has been backed up prior to service

· The device is free of any restrictions preventing repair

· Accurate information regarding device condition has been provided

3. Data Loss Disclaimer

All services are performed with the understanding that data loss may occur. We accept no responsibility for any loss, corruption, or compromise of data.

4. Pre-Existing Defects

Devices may contain pre-existing faults, wear, corrosion, prior repairs, or latent defects not visible during inspection. We are not responsible for failures arising from such conditions.

5. Inherent Risk of Repair

Electronic repairs involve disassembly of fragile and tightly integrated components. Failures may occur due to:

· Age and material degradation

· Prior stress or damage

· Device design limitations

Such failures may occur even where reasonable care and skill are exercised.

6. Secondary or Incidental Damage

We are not liable for failure of additional components except where directly caused by proven negligence.

Any incidental or secondary damage not caused by negligence shall not be subject to repair, replacement, or compensation.

Where the cause of failure cannot be conclusively determined, such failure shall not be presumed to be the result of negligence.

Such failures may occur even where reasonable care and skill are exercised.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by the laws of Jamaica:

· Liability is limited strictly to the amount paid for the specific service performed

· We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

8. Non-Warranty Repairs

All non-warranty repairs are undertaken strictly on a best-effort basis and at the customer’s risk. No guarantee is made regarding:

· Successful repair

· Continued operation

· Absence of additional faults

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where such exclusion is not permitted by law.

9. Device Integrity Disclaimer

We do not guarantee that the structural or functional integrity of the device will be preserved during disassembly, particularly for aged or previously repaired devices.

10. High-Risk Repairs

Certain repairs involve increased risk. Where applicable, a High-Risk Repair Addendum will be required prior to proceeding.

11. Right to Refuse Service

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service where:

· Risk is excessive

· Parts are unavailable

· Potential liability exceeds service value

12. Abandonment & Storage

Devices not collected within 30 days may incur storage fees or be treated as abandoned.

13. Customer Inspection and Acceptance

The customer is required to inspect the device upon collection. Any concerns must be raised at the time of collection.

Failure to do so may limit the ability to assess subsequent claims.

14. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Service Intake Form and any applicable Addendum, constitute the entire agreement between the parties.

15. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Jamaica.
