Jamaica Data Protection Act – how we can help

Jamaica Data Protection Act comes into effect on DECEMBER 1, 2023

The Data Protection Act was passed in June of 2020, and defines the standards for treatment of personal data (data relating to a living individual who can be identified from the data). It applies to the processing of personal data and requires businesses to collect, use, and store personal data in a fair and transparent way, and to protect it from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure.
